I can't believe that I have fallen off of the wagon so badly:(. I had a scheduled cheat day on September 19th and haven't been back on it since...until today. I am afraid to admit that I enjoyed not being on the program. I have been going to a lounge a few minutes from work with some co-workers a few times a week and found it nice to be able to partake in the UNhealthy food. I did have a salad once and it was totally soggy, so I never ordered one again. I'm going to have to figure out a different way to socialize with them. They do work out in the morning around 4:45 am, but I just really can't see myself doing that, haha.
I have yet to weigh myself since September 19th and I won't until Saturday. I'm afraid of seeing the number that will be staring back at me b/c usually when I regain weight, I just give up and I just don't want to do it this time. I think I gained no more than 10 lbs but I have noticed that I am more flabby in my thighs and stomach. Thankfully, my clothes still fit albeit they are tighter around my thighs (my worst body part) -- boo.
I am not planning on cheating until my Christmas party which will be around the 2nd week in December. I do have an added incentive to go back to eating healthy and exercise and that is the possibility of my going to Florida for a week during my Christmas holidays -- YAY!! I will be bringing my nephew there and meeting my parents down there at my aunt's house. I will be so close to Georgia and all of my friends that I'm hoping that some of them will come down to go to Disneyland or Universal Studios.

My Weightloss Journey
March 22, 2009, was the first day of my weightloss journey. It was what I called my "nothing good" diet, lol. I gave up junk food, fast food, fried food...pretty well everything processed. I started eating more protein (meat is not my favorite thing to eat), more vegetables and more fruits. I also decreased the starches in my diet. I now only eat 3 meals a day. I find that when I eat snacks that I overeat them and when I allow myself to have some of my "nothing good" foods that I lack self-control and I gorge myself.
My journey has not been easy. I went 11 weeks without cheating when I began but then had to accept that there was no way that I will be able to live my life that way. Now I allow a cheat once a month. Although in July, I fell off of the wagon for 3 days one week. I will soon hope to change that to one cheat every three weeks and then to one cheat every two weeks and then finally to one cheat every week. I'm also having cheat "days". Once I decrease the length of how long I wait to have a cheat day, I would also like to have only one cheat meal.
I started my journey weighing 240.8 lbs and my goal weight had been 150 lbs. As of August 1st, 2009, I have lost 46.3 lbs. I still have 44.5 lbs to go and hope to reach my goal weight before Christmas.
